The C64 DB9 to USB joystick adapter

This DB9 to USB adapter is specifically for The C64 mini/maxi/black edition from Retro Games Ltd but will also work on PC/mac/raspberry pi etc.

This adapter allows you to use your original classic 9 pin joystick with The C64 console.

It is totally plug and play requiring no setup or patch files.

It comes with a built in menu button for quick and easy access to the carousel and options menu and for those mini owners without a keyboard we now have an optional unit with both Triangle, A, B, C and Menu buttons to make it easier to navigate the keyboard menu. 
We have also now added a version with a built in SD memory card reader that accepts SD or TF memory cards. 

All versions also feature a 5v pass through allowing joysticks with auto fire or illuminating buttons to work and now all models feature compatibility with 2 button joysticks such as our own 2 button arcade model.

Two of these units can be plugged into the C64 simultaneously allowing 2 joysticks to be used on two player games.
